To me the museum felt like a time machine. For brief moments you forget you are in the 2000s when you are transported back in time to see unique pieces from centuries ago. There is also a taste of home with Inuit art that I saw frequently at Manitoba museums when I was growing up on the prairies.

Finally, Sophie put me in a timeout after I took pictures in a temporary gallery where photography was not allowed. At the same time, I didn't notice the signage because I was so consumed with the experience at the museum. Maybe that is why they keep the jail cells in tact -- for radio hosts who get into trouble.
